There is some truth to the adage that laughter is great medicine. Combining the ingredients of laughter, kinship and respect can transform any house into a home, a person into a friend. The minute you walk into Cherished Hearts Care Home, you’ll experience those ingredients. I like to call it “Cherished Quality Friendship”.
My parents have always instilled in me a sense of compassion and respect for others. It is so ingrained in me that it transcends everything I do at the care home.
Beyond the basic necessities of life, it’s important to feel wanted and loved. At Cherished Hearts Care Home we maintain close relationships with our residents. “Teddy” our dog provides even additional companionship. And I have to admit I just love to hug the residents. I’m a very tactile person! I guess that is why I love coming to the residence each day. I think it’s important to have that passion and compassion for our residents.
